Here’s a gorgeous (pencil) case study of a cute stationery item from the 1980s!
This is a rare brand new, never used Japan Midori pencil box. Its original price tag is still on the back and the inside compartment is still wrapped in tissue.
It has a lovely “pastoral” illustration of a young couple on the cover and the usual retro Japlish text that is so characteristic of vintage stationery from the 1980s and 1990s.
This is a brand new, unused item and it is in very good and clean condition for its age but please look at all photos carefully and do give some leeway for minor flaws like slight oxidation, smudges and scratches on metal portions, some yellowing and discolouration, and some fading.
Measures about 23cm by 9cm when closed.
